Thích Nữ Giới Hương 

 I prostrate to Buddha on a rainy evening,

My heart fervently reciting prayers,

Let be repentant for the committed faults,

Wishing the rain to cleanse this world*

 I pray to the Buddha on an early morning,

Keeping a calm mind to be silent with the Buddha,

Amidst these stormy waves** of illusory changes,

Suddenly experiencing this immensity*** in space

 I pray to the Buddha when the nightly shadow appears,

Seeking strength in the wrapping protection of Buddha,

Hoping to transform the seven emotions**** and the six sensual attractions+

Flapping my wings to escape these fleecy-like clouds.

 I pray to Buddha when the sky is warm with sun rays,

Making a vow to follow the Buddha’s   virtue,

Letting go of instances of my delirious selfishness,

My mind blooms profusely the mercy flowers of Buddha.

* Worldly afflictions

** wind and waves of vicissitudes

*** Within and without in limitless space (codependence)

**** Seven emotions (Joy, Anger, Sorrow, Fear, Love, Hate and Desire)

+  Six desires (Color, Form, Carriage, Speech, Softness and Features),

Con lạy Phật vào một chiều mưa rơi

Tâm chí thành lòng tha thiết tụng kinh

Xin sám hối cho lỗi lầm đã phạm

Mong cơn mưa rửa sạch bụi hồng trần.

Con lạy Phật vào một sáng tinh sương

Giữ trong sáng tâm lắng yên cùng Phật

Những sóng gió vọng tâm đều ảo hóa

Chợt thấy mình vốn đầy khắp bao la.

Con lạy Phật khi bóng đêm vừa đến

Nương sức từ ngài bao phủ chở che

Mong thoát khỏi thất tình cùng lục dục

Như cánh chim vượt thoát khỏi áng mây.

Con lạy Phật khi trời đầy nắng ấm

Nguyện nương theo hạnh Thế tôn

Từ phụ Buông xả hết những mê lầm ích kỷ

Trong tâm rộ hoa từ bi của Phật.
