ENGLISH VERSION
The Hương Sen Newsletter is written three times per year under the themes of
Spring, Vesak and Vu Lan Day, in bilingual (English-Vietnamese) since 2019 to
now.
The bulletin is long about 50 colorful pages with beautiful cover. Contents are
about the meaning of the Spring New Year, Buddha’s Birthday, Vu Lan, Buddhist
history, poetry, literature, Buddhist jokes, activities, practice, propaganda and the
process of building Huong Sen Temple, and so on. With the aim to introduce the
Hương Sen Nunnery or the Asian Buddhist culture to the Vietnamese-American
community in the United States.
VIETNAMESE VERSION
Bản Tin Hương Sen được viết theo chủ đề Xuân, Phật Đản và Vu. Mỗi năm 3 tờ,
viết song ngữ (Anh-Việt) từ đầu năm 2019 đến nay.
Bản tin dài khoảng 50 trang in màu, bìa giấy đẹp. Nội dung viết về ý nghĩa Ngày lễ
của Xuân Tết, Phật Đản và Vu Lan, lịch sử Phật giáo, thơ, văn, chuyện cười Phật
giáo, sinh hoạt, tu tập, hoằng pháp cũng như tiến trình xây dựng cơ sở Chùa Hương
Sen,… nhằm mục đích giới thiệu Chùa Ni Hương Sen hay văn hóa Phật giáo Á
Châu đến cộng đồng Việt-Mỹ tại Hoa Kỳ.
