Day 01: July’1st: Arrival Delhi.
Arrive at Airport around 625 AM and transfer to hotel Day at leisure; after lunch you will proceed to attend a conference in Delhi. Rest and lunch. After that head to Conference at 2-5pm
Mahabodhi Vihara - Buddhist Temple in Delhi

Day 02: July’2nd: Delhi-Lucknow (By Flight) Drive to Sravasti (175 Kms/ 4 Hrs)
Morning you will be transferred to Airport to board flight to Lucknow.

Arrive Lucknow and drive to Sravasti. Sravasti the capital of the ancient kingdom of Kosala, has the honour for sheltering Buddha for 24 rainy seasons in the Jetavana Gardens. It is sacred to Buddhists because it is here that Lord Buddha performed the Tirthika heretics. Visit all important places including Jetvana Monasteries and other monasteries in Sravasti. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: July’3rd: Sravasti-Lumbini (165 Kms/5 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast you will drive to Lumbini(Nepal). While going to Lumbini, stop at India/Nepal border for Visa/Immigration formalities.
Day 04: July’4th: Sravasti-Lumbini
After breakfast you will proceed to visit Lumbini the most famous Maya Devi Temple, World Peace Pagoda, Lumbini Monastic site, Eternal Peace Flame, Royal Thai Monastery, Myanmar Golden Monastery, Dae Sung Shakya (Korean Temple) etc drive from the Nepal Border. Overnight. stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05: July’5th: Lumbini-Kushinagar (185 Kms / 5 Hrs)
After breakfast you will you will be driven to Kushinagar. Arrive and check in at hotel in Kushinagar. Kushinagar is the place where the Lord Buddha uttered his last words "Behold now, brethren, I exhort you, saying, decay is inherent in all component things! Work out your salvation with diligence!" and left for the heaven. A templededicated to the event - the Mahaparinirvana temple, stands testimony to the mournful demise. Among the various Stupas of Kushinagar, Rambhar Stupa needs your exploration for it is the place where Lord Buddha was supposedly cremated. Also visit Mahaparinirvana Temple (where Buddha took his last breathe) and Rambhar Stupa (cremation site of lord Buddha), Japanese Temple. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Kushinagar.
Day 06: July’ 6th: Kushinagar-Vaishali-Nalanda Rajgir-Bodhgaya (325 Kms-10 Hrs)
Early morning you will be driven to Bodhgaya en-route visit Vaishali, Nalanda Rajgir. Vaishali mentioned in the Ramayana and in the Buddhist literature, is reputed as the birthplace of Lord Mahavira and the capital of
Lichchavis from early times. It was the scene of the Second Buddhist council held about a hundred years Lord Buddha's death. According to the historians, Vaishali is one of the first democratic republics of the world. A recent excavation has brought Vaishali in the limelight and the historical and archaeological importance of the area has resurfaced. In Vaishali we will be visiting Ashoka Pillar, Buddha stupa and Shanti stupa.
Drive continues to Bodhgaya en-route visit Nalanda-Rajgir. you will visit the ruins of Nalanda University. Founded in the 5th Century A.D., Nalanda is known as the ancient seat of learning. 2000 teachers and 10000
Students from all over the Buddhist world lived and studied at Nalanda, the first Residential International University of the World. A walk in the ruins of the university takes you to an era, that saw India leading in
imparting knowledge, to the world - the era when India was a coveted place for studies. The University flourished during the 5th and 12th century. Further we will drive to visit Rajgir. Lord Buddha spent many
months of retreat during the rainy season here, and use to meditate and preach on Gridhakuta, the "Hill of the Vultures". Lord Mahavir spent 14 years of his life at Rajgir and nalanda. It was in Rajgir that Lord Buddha
delivered some of his famous sermons and converted king Bimbisara of the Magadha Kingdom and countless others to his creed. Here we will visit the monastery of Venuvana Vihar built by King Bimbisara for Lord Buddha to reside. This was the King's first offering to Lord Buddha. Arrive and check in at hotel in Bodhgaya. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Bodhgaya.
Day 07: July’7th: Bodhgaya-Sarnath (250 Kms/6 Hrs)
After beakfast you will proceeds to visit Mahabodhi Temple & Bodhi Tree, Great Buddha Statue, Niranjana River, Sujata Temple - which is across the Niranjana River & it's 30 minutes walk through the paddy fields. Also visit various other Buddhist Temples in Bodhgaya. Later you will drive to Sarnath enjoys the extraordinary privilege of Lord Buddha delivering his first sermon after attaining enlightenment 2500 years ago. It is about 10 km from Varanasi and holds a number of Buddhist sites that include the famous Dhamekh Stupa, the seat of the holy 'Buddha'. You can also visit the ruins of Dharmarajika Stupa and Mulagandha Kuti Temple, where Lord Buddha is said to have rested and meditated while in Sarnath. The Ashoka Pillar built by the emperor Ashoka is a must see in Sarnath. The Lion Capital on top of this pillar is now the National Emblem of India and stands apart for its excellent artistry and carvings. Overnight stay will be at Srilankan Monastery. (Cost not included in Package)
Day 08: July’ 8th: Sarnath –Varanasi-Delhi (By Flight)
5:am you will visit Ganges River and enjoy a boat ride.
Breakfast will be at the outside restaurant.
At 10:am: back and present at Sri Lanka Temple for Charity and lunch.
After lunch, visit some other places in Varanasi. Like Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Durga Temple and BHU and Bharat Mata Temple
Evening You will depart to Varanasi to board a flight to Delhi.
Flight Varanasi- Delhi to be announce (time inform later)
Arrive and check in at a hotel in Delhi. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 09: July’09th: Delhi-Colombo (By Flight)
Morning at leisure, After breakfast around 09:00 AM start your city tour of Delhi with an exclusive car & expert English speaking guide, you also can opt for your preferred language guide by prior information or at the time of booking the tour. On first half day Visit Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Afternoon the second half of the day visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ), Lakshminarayan Temple – a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President’s House, Parliament House, and Government Secretariat Buildings & Connaught Place. Evening visit shopping centres in Delhi. In time you will be transferred to Airport to board flight to Colombo
Note: On Monday a few monuments are only closed viz Red Fort, Akshardham Temple and Lotus Temple etc. So you would be able to see many places even though on Mondays.
