HAPPY NEW TIGER YEAR 2022
Dear All Fellow Buddhists and Dharma Friends,
The earth has circled; another year is coming. The spring wind, the blooming yellow apricot flowers, Tết (New Year) sticky rice cakes . . . all are bringing fresh joy to our planet. We, the nuns, thank you for your love, especially during the Covid pandemic season. You always accompany and support Hương Sen Temple to practice and chant scriptures peacefully.
The Covid pandemic is spreading globally; vaccines are becoming available but a new super-infectious type has appeared, making us anxious, insecure. We need to have a steadfast spirit to overcome the pandemic. To have a safe world, let us put firm faith in the Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha) and in karma and merit, We must be more diligent in our practice, meditation, chanting, repenting, reciting mantras, reciting the Buddha's name, and spreading compassion to all species.
We hope that the New Year of the Tiger will have many new and wonderful things coming to us. There are miracles that only appear when we focus our attention on the practice and direction of goodness. In order to create a persistent practice for Buddhists, we would like to send you a full year 2022 calendar, the New Year program, as well as the lecture periods and daily online prayer chants on Facebook. Buddhist followers will be able to follow as well as participate, so that we can cultivate healthy energies for ourselves and the world around us.
